My 2 year old daughter is in love with this toy. As a parent in my early 30s this reminds me so much of my adolescence in the 80s when keytars were still fairly popular. With that in mind the Plex Keytar appeals to both my daughter and I in many ways. There are 5 different songs snippets accessible by pressing 5 corresponding buttons on the keytar which contain images of the 5 main characters; Plex, Muno, Brobee, Fufa and Tudy. The five mini-songs are sung by each individual character.
There are also 8 individual piano keys on the keytar, only the white ones play, but my daughter will lay down with the keytar on the floor sometimes and "play" music that way. Plex's feet also pulldown to reveal a large button with a sticker that looks like guitar strings on it that emits a number of noises different from those available via the keys.
This keytar is the perfect size for a child to carry around with them, which my daughter does, and makes for a good companion in that sense. She walks around with it all the time as it has become one of her current favorite toys.
Overall this toy will return your investment via the entertainment it brings your child.

I bought this for my 2 year old "Yo Gabba Gabba" lover! This is his favorite birthday present - because it's Plex. As far as the toy goes, it's entertaining for him. Only the white keys play tunes, the black ones do not move. The buttons with the character pictures on them do not press separately, must all be on a panel, press one down they all go down but it does play a different random Gabba Gabba song each time you press it. I think there are 5 songs. Could be improved in several ways but my kid is satisfied with it so we'll keep it.

Our son absolutely LOVES this!!! He's just about to turn 1, and loves Yo Gabba Gabba! He plays with this more than anything I think. He walks around dancing to it. It's great! He always has a giant smile on his face when he hits a key. Highly recommend for all YGG fans!

i bought this for my son who loves yo gabba gabba, he got the guitar last christmas & this year we are getting the keyboard. i was very pleased with the product when i got it, only thing i didnt like is the buttons sorta stuck a little at first.. if you pressed one they all pressed down... i think the more you play with it, it becomes unstuck... but other than that seem like a great gift, i cant wait to see his face when he opens it!
