My 15month old daughter loves this toy. It is just the right size for her to step over and sit on. Bouncing on it is her favorite part. The cow is adorable and a very attractive toy for the little ones.
Only one problem. It doesn't come with a pump, and even the ones Amazon recommended at the bottom of the screen aren't enough. We have two different hand air pumps and neither one can get it pumped up enough to be stable. My daughter has had the legs of the cow crumple under her several times now. We've tried everything to get this cow to blow up enough. I guess we're just going to have to put it up until I can get something more powerful to blow it up.
I recommend some kind of electric bicycle pump because a hand pump is not going to get this thing fully inflated enough to be stable.

i bought one for my niece this christmas. i was worried she'd be too young for it (at only 7 months) but she loves it! we have to hold onto while she sits on him but she's getting really good at bouncing and taking steps with him supporting her. it'll be great for her while she grows and learns to walk and eventually can bounce on her own.
it's really nice soft rubber...feels nice, doesn't smell weird or anything.
i got the white which i can see getting scuffed and dirty easily but it's just so cute!
best. gift. ever.

We have had the white/black cow for almost 6 months and still love it! When our 2 year old received it she was easily able to reach the floor, then she learned to balance on it (can tip forward) and within a couple of months was bouncing away. Our 4 year old finds it "moovelous" too and had no trouble getting around on it. The plastic is thick and has stayed fully inflated all this time. I never mind having this toy out as it is such a conversation piece. The cow had some small "factory" smudges on the white areas, but nothing that detracted from the overall appearance or it's purpose. Excellent child powered toy!

I bought this for my niece's first birthday...and it was the hit of the party. It is still her favorite toy.
It is easier to inflate if you have a pump (doesn't come with one), but once you are set-up, it is great fun for a little one. It seems to be well constructed and looks like it will stand the test of time.
The only warning is that it is a little smaller that I thought it would be. My guess is: perfect for a one year old, might be just a BIT too small for a two year old. Look at the dimensions carefully before you make your decision.

We've had Howdy for over 6 months now, blew him up with the pump Amazon recommends and haven't had to reinflate or top him off yet. My 15 month old LOVES bouncing on him and really goes to town! He calls him "Moo" and loves to practice blowing raspberries on his back. Its a lot of fun and pretty hilarious for his parents! The only negative I have noticed is that Howdy is a little front-heavy and tends to tip forward and land on its face. We solve this by holding onto its tail while the baby jumps up and down.
