disappointed!Jan 08, 2009
By Ms. Mica I bought this to replace an old travel Rummikub, because the numbers were wearing off the tiles so badly. I'm disappointed with the new ones for 3 reasons. 1. The new tiles are inconveniently tiny - their fronts are about a quarter the size of the tile fronts on the old tiles, and they're very thin. 2. The blue and black numbered tiles are hard to tell apart. The blue numbers on the new tiles are much darker than the blue numbers on the old tiles. 3. The 'patented' tile holders have an annoying design such that the whole thing tips and spills the tiles if one bumps the front overhang.
I couldn't see any of these problems before I bought the set, because there doesn't seem to be any description of the size.

The actual size of the tiles is 9/16" x 7/16"Aug 04, 2011
By Mom So I am going on a flight with a three hour lay over and wanted a small version we could play in the airport. So I read all the reviews of the travel version and the attache version trying to decide what to get. I was so aggravated that in none of the reviews or descriptions does anyone say how big the tiles actually are. The travel version all I could find was they were tiny. The attache version all I could find was they were good size. So before I bought one I called pressman and asked how big both versions tiles are. The travel version is truely for travel 9/16" x 7/16" and the attache version is the regular size tiles from the regular game 1" x 1&1/2".

Perfect complement for folks who like to travel, it's small and compact and convenient to pack in a bag. However, we would have prefered a bit larger size, perhaps one half of the regular Rummy cub tiles, the tiles of this game are small and can be lost easily if we are not careful.

Very Tiny PiecesApr 28, 2008

I bought this for my Grandmother for Christmas because she already had a travel rummikub but the size of the pieces are incredibly tiny. And obviously for an elderly person reading numbers on tiny pieces is pretty much impossible. But the actual game is great!

By W. Pollack The game itself is fun for any person 5 and older; however, this particular travel size is WAY too small. The pieces are the size of my fingernail. Easy to loose and hard to play.
