Strato FunJan 10, 2010 Strato Chess with 3 levels was the hit of the day for our 16 yr old Grandson. It was high on his Christmas wish. He loves the challenge and is thinking of entering chess contests. It doesn't take up a lot of space on his desk, & light weight for carrying to his friends homes. I would have been nice to have had more description, the dimensions, weight & the type of material used. when ordering.
Christmas Gift for 14 year old - loves it!Jan 05, 2010 My 14 yo requested this on his "santa" list. Looked everywhere locally for it, could not find it. Searched online found it here. He loves it. It comes in a game size box, so you have to put it together. Very simple to piece it together. We did run into a problem where the middle section screw hole was not quite drilled right, but we fixed it ourselves. Glad to see that it was plastic boards and not glass, as you know how kids break breakables. Perfect for a teenager.

A lot of funNov 02, 2009 I have really enjoyed this variation of chess but suggest that you download the Millennium 3D chess rules and use those instead of the ones included in the box. A really nice set at an excellent price and a whole new way of thinking about chess.

meMay 21, 2009 I didn't rate this as a toy because I use it for displaying my collection of pewter. It is made really well and holds and shows them nicely. Thanks

Could be arranged betterDec 27, 2008 I bought this as a gift for an 18 year old family member who has won high-school chess tournaments several times. He really liked the game, but did comment that, with the three boards directly over each other, it was hard to keep track of where all the pieces were. He felt that if they were moved over just a bit, it would be easier. His uncle, who played several games with him, agreed. All in all, though, he was pleased with it and it's certainly a better tri-level choice than the mega-expensive "Star Trek" version!!
