Alot of pieces, but very good instructionsDec 26, 2007

I bought this on Amazon as a Christmas gift for my son. This action playset is a little bit more consuming to put together than other similar playsets, as it took a couple hours with the instructions included. I like that you get all (4) of the key characters in Spiderman 3 movie too. One flaw that stands out with this is the crane detaches easy so it's hard for children to play without the crane falling off several times. So one way to fix this is to super-glu the cranes' base to the top of the tower it sits on. It still turns left/right and operates fine, it just doesn't fall off anymore. Other than that, this is a very durable set.

My son has enjoyed this toy and plays with almost every day. The Mega Blocks instructions are getting much better and we had no difficulty putting it together. I would recommend this toy.

I have it on my Christmas list. I found out that Mega Bloks figures and Lego figure's body parts can pop off and on when I had my first set ever. It's because of the joints. They can pop off and on anytime you want!

My son received one of these about three years ago when he was very young. I put it together then and he enjoyed it. Since he received that one we have moved twice and lost all the pieces. Legos when stepped on go in the trash. So, this year for his birthday he spent his own birthday money and bought a new one. He has loved it. He's 11 and he put it together by himself. I had to help when the dog jumped on it and broke it apart. He has spent hours playing with it and has totally enjoyed it. The other day he was frustrated because he keeps loosing the little beige sand bits on my beige sand colored carpet. But we solved that by using a towel under it to make for a contrast to more easily find the bits. Once he spent his money on it, now he's more careful about losing the pieces.

This is fun for my 6 year old son to build. The only problem with this toy is that it has alot of pieces and they do not stay together very good. He seems to get frustrated when he is playing and the pieces come apart. Other then that he really likes it.
