Certain to enhance your child's love of music with its endearing melodic tones and chromatically tuned, the lovely chime-like notes are produced by little hammers striking precision-ground, German steel music rods (versus the conventional taut wires used in full-sized models). Schoenhut's patented Learning System, with its play-by-color teaching method, makes playing simple and fun. A removable color strip fits behind the keys to guide small fingers from chord to chord. The chart also works on adult keyboards, since keys on Schoenhut toy pianos are of corresponding width. This teaches children proper "finger stretch" from the very beginning. The accompanying Songbook contains a collection of familiar tunes. This Learning System has been specially designed to build a child's confidence and develop basic playing skills. Hardboard and songbook included. Measures 10.3"L x 17"W x 20"H. | | | Features: | |

a great piano for toddlersApr 07, 2011

The sound, keyboard action, size, and beaty of this piano is great. It is sturdy and has a real piano sound. It will inspire any toddler. My daughter set it up for my grand-daughter in the living room without the bench. This one-year old stops and plays many times each day as she does her walk-abouts. We love it.

ADORABLE LITTLE PIANO FOR TODDLERFeb 03, 2011
By mom2beenj Santa brought this to our daughter for christmas and we are very happy with it. It is the perfect size and can be moved around from room to room. She loves it and bangs away on the keys. It was delivered fast and in perfect condition. If you are not ready to buy your little one a real piano this will suffice for a few years. It is just adorable.
Great for toddlersFeb 02, 2012
By treehuggingmama This piano is so cute! Our two and a half year old loves it.
It's kind of small, standing at 19 inches tall with the bench standing at 8 inches. I felt like it would be bigger judging by the picture, but no complaints otherwise. My two year old is on the small side, so she will be playing with this for a while. To those complaining that this doesn't sound like a real piano, Schoenhut makes "real" mini-pianos for $1000+ dollars, as do several other companies. For us, this is just right for a two year old to bang around on.
