Puzzle is of great quality, and a beautiful picture. Unfortunately, I purchased a puzzle missing a piece. I am astounded that this would happen, and sincerely disappointed that I wasted time putting together a puzzle that wasn't all there. How was I to know. I emailed Ravensburger despite their website stating they do not replace puzzle pieces since this is in fact their mistake. I however have not heard anything back. I realize this is just dumb luck, but I confess it has dissuaded me from purchasing future Ravensburger puzzles at this point.

This is a wonderful picture, and the puzzle is fun to put together. I love the feel of Ravensburger puzzle pieces; they're much sturdier than many other companies' and are much more likely to last a long time. I definitely recommend this puzzle.
As far as 1000 piece puzzles go, it's pretty easy. There are very relatively few pieces that you cannot immediately tell in which section they belong. (Not a pro or con, just an observation.)
The only complaint I have is that the pieces tend to fit together fairly loosely. This presents two problems.
1) You may find yourself second-guessing whether or or not a piece that seems to fit is actually in the correct place. Luckily because this puzzle's picture has obviously different colors and sections, you're not likely to put a piece in the wrong place (often). It happened to me once during this puzzle, but thankfully I caught it fairly soon. However, I'd imagine that this could be a huge pain for puzzles that have very large areas of similar colors.
2) It makes it extremely difficult to move sections of the puzzle around without sliding them onto a temporary surface and then sliding from that back to where you're building the puzzle. This is quite an annoyance to me. I always do puzzles without looking at the picture on the box. This means that I'll do large sections of the puzzle independently of others, and these sections will rarely be built right at their final location. I almost always have to move them (at least once), and doing so becomes a chore.
