 Great Puzzle, Very ChallengingJan 20, 2011

I spent many hours working on this puzzle. It is very difficult, most of the pieces are either dark or pastel colors, making many sections look similar. I put together the sky first, it seemed to be the easiest part. The puzzle looks great when completed. The only flaw in the product is a seam running down the middle of the picture, almost as if the cut is unfinished. Overall this was an amazing puzzle, the picture quality for such a large puzzle is superb. I can not wait to glue and frame this one! This puzzle took me roughly 2 weeks. As a comparison the NYC 2000 piece puzzle took me around 5 days. I am very happy with this puzzle, Ravensburger quality is unparalleled.

I bought this puzzle as a gift for my wife. She really enjoys challenging puzzles (2000 - 3000 pieces) and she really likes this one!

Often cheeper puzzles don't fit well, the cardboard pieces start to split, or they aren't properly punched and tear the image when you have to separate them. NO SUCH PROBLEMS WITH THESE. The pieces are thin (about 1.5 mm), strong, and crisp. You don't have to force pieces because they fit easily. Tons of different piece shapes. Oh... and the colors are gorgeous. One of my husbands preferred puzzle brands.

I bought this for my gf for christmas, and she is about 1/2 way through it, but she is enjoying it. From listening to her though, unless you really get into jigsaw puzzles, I wouldn't buy one with more pieces than this.
