THE MC CLAREN PRAM- MY 3 YEAR OLD GRAND DAUGHTER LOVED THE PRAM. ONE ISSUE IS THE PLASTIC BASKET ON THE BOTTOM WHICH SEEMED TO BE TOO LOOSE AND KEPT FALLING OUT. WE JUST REMOVED IT AND HAD NO PROBLEM. CUTE

My poor three year old daughter received this as a gift for Christmas. We have spent all Christmas morning fighting with the darn thing and we cannot get the wheels to lock on. They just lift right off. My little girl has given up waiting around to play with her new toy and what makes it worse is there are no written instructions accompanying the stroller; just some hard-to-see pictures. We are extremely disappointed with the lack of craftsmanship in a respected brand and regret that we will be returning this for a better quality stroller.

I was expecting so much more from a brand that has such a good reputation. When putting it together you have the choice of following the instructions and having wheels that fall off (due to the washers being too thck) or forgoing the instuctions and having wheels that don't turn. We chose the latter. My poor daughter was sorely disappointed when she found that the stroller she was so hoping Santa would bring couldn't be wheeled around. I truly regret purchasing this. I think I will return it and get the Pottery Barn doll pram instead.

I'm writing this review because I had a completely opposite experience of the two "one stars" below. This buggy is fantastic. Everyone in my extended family has commented how much fun it is and how well constructed. I needed a sturdy buggy for my wobbly youngest child. We had no problems with the wheels. I agree with another reviewer about the plastic basket falling off, although we continue to use it. I can't wait to take it outside when the weather warms up. For now, my 3 and 5 year olds pretend to go on trips with it. The only problem is that I need to buy another one so that they stop fighting over it!

I purchased this pram for my 18 month old after much online and in store research. It was a major hit! From the minute she saw it she has loved it and uses it for dolls, toys, books and everything else all day every day.
We love the roominess for her 18" baby doll. The adjustable height handle is essential. The fabric is cute and colorful... although I do wish the hood would stay attached to the pram rim a little better. (I can fix this with small velcro patches.)
The matching bag and the basket underneath make any little girl feel like a mom. She can carry all her baby's belongings with her. I agree with the other frustrated customers about the basket falling off regularly but the problem was easily fixed using twist ties from storage bags to secure the basket to the bar.
Regarding the assembly problems I too had the problem of the wheels falling off. After several attempts I realized the image of the small part on the instruction page was upside down. I ignored the instructions, had perfect assembly and there hasn't been a problem since!
As testimony to this pram every mom who has seen it has asked me where we got it and wished they had chosen it instead of less expensive models for their little "mom". I am sure there will be a lot of love given to this pram in the years to come!
