My son is obsessed with garbage trucks. He saw a Mercedes one on Youtube and pestered me for days about finding a toy one. I caved like any good mom. I am from the Tonka old school (if it isn't die cast metal it won't survive a 3 yr old boy) but it is a durable and solid construction. He has played with it every day for the last couple of months. The blade inside the hopper moves as does the blade where the trash goes in. It dumps and the cab lifts to reveal the engine. I may have to get the toter & dumpster accessories for a stocking stuffer at Xmas.

I bought this for my son after he saw some on YouTube. I feel guilty spending such money for a toy. It wasn't even a birthday or anything. It has been worth every penny. He has spent hours and hours playing with it. The only problem is that he has created piles of litter around my house that he calls his "dumps". All the working parts are very realistic looking and they work well. Again, worth every penny, at least for my trash obsessed son!

This Bruder truck was a must have by my nephew for Xmas. He opened the truck which is larger than expected and was thrilled. It is very realistic and for all those kids who love garbage trucks, this one is a must have. I had read the reviews for some of the Bruder trucks and was a bit skeptical but not anymore. It's made of hard plastic, very durable, and comes with the 3 garbage cans that you see in the ad. I'd recommend this product.

I bought two of these Bruder garbage trucks for my 3 year old grandsons and this has been their favourite toy this Christmas - they work like real trucks and they are extremely well constructed even for little 3 year olds who are not terribly mechanically inclined at their age. Even their older cousins enjoy playing with these. Highly recommended.
