THE BEST SHOPPING CART OUT OF THE 3 I BOUGHTMar 26, 2010
By Shesquirrel Take my advice...just buy THIS cart if you are shopping for one. I was in the unique position where I had 3 different carts all in my kitchen at one time. You really need to "Feel" the carts first hand to understand. I initially bought the Step One Little Helpers shopping cart after reading all the good reviews. Bad choice. It constantly tips over, its bulky and is not user friendly to push. The only thing good about that one was there was no assembly...plus I only wasted $5 because I bought it on Craig's List. Then my sister in law bought me a American Plastic grocery cart and boy was that JUNK. I couldn't even believe they would make such flimsy toys! It was so thin and cheaply made. The cart simply tipped if any weight was put on it. I just threw it way (the handle kept popping off, also) Then I found THIS shopping cart. Oh wow, there is no comparison over the other 2. This pushes so nice and takes up less space. The fact that it doesn't tip over may have a lot to do with the wide base of support and how it is evenly distributed. I had to assemble it but it was sooooo worth the time and money. I know I went through a lot of time and money getting the "perfect" shopping cart but I would do it all over just to make sure I get one that will last years and years. My 14 month old can actually push it and has never tipped it yet. Totally recommend!

Sturdy and cute shopping cartAug 19, 2010
By moabel I bought this for my daughter for her first birthday thinking it would help her walk better. She was just starting to walk and I figured she would push this around and get better at walking. I was wrong-she wouldn't push it at all. Sometimes she would take toys in and out of the basket, but mostly the cart just sat in a corner. I was very dissappointed. However, when she got to be about 17 months old, she started playing with it and pushing it everywhere! It is very sturdy. She has never turned it over. I have read some reviews that say the wheels fall off. I have a feeling this is due to improper assembly. The wheels have NEVER fallen off of our cart. I thought about buying a smaller and much cheaper cart, but I'm so glad I didn't. I realize now that a lighter cart would not have been safe for a child her age. This product is well worth the money!

Nice and sturdyOct 27, 2011

This is a nice and sturdy shopping cart. We bought this for our two year old. Our four year old likes it as well. There are usually fights over it. It is durable and definately takes a beating. A little of a pain to put together...do it before you give it as a gift...it will take some time. Overall a very good toy. Should last us a long time!

Wheels fall offMar 05, 2011
By Tanya Received this as a gift and was told about the great reviews. It was easy to put together but the wheels began to fall off instantly. A local store also has a stock of these for kids to push around the store and the wheels are falling off of those too. We've tried everything to keep them on so I'm amazed that others are not having the same problem. We were going to try to super glue them. It's otherwise very cute.

Great shopping cart for a toddlerOct 18, 2011
By KC Mama We bought this for our daughter for her 2nd birthday. I put it together (which I am quite proud of...ha ha). It was VERY easy to assemble, only took me about 20 minutes. It is very stable, I really like the colors of it...I bought 2 Melissa & Doug food sets to go with it, and with about 8 items each, those don't even fill more than half of the grocery basket...so there is quite a bit of room in it. Also has a cute front seat to put a "baby" in, etc. Love this cart!
