I have a unique perspective because this was purchased for my son who is disabled. Because of a brain hemorrhage at birth, he is mentally delayed. He really enjoys these types of activity centers. This one is great because of the spinning cylinder with beads. The problems would be that the buttons are so high that a baby sitting on the floor can't reach them. Also, the spinning things on both sides of the cylinder don't spin very well unless the toy is positioned just right. Because the toy is for my son, I haven't had a chance to try out the drawing surface on the back side. Just an FYI, my wife thought it would be like a white board but it isn't. White board markers don't easily erase.

Hi, just wanted to say my granddaughter loves this gym, everytime she comes over she plays with this for a hour or so and that's long in athe world of a 6 month old.Would tell the world it's Great.

Very disappointed in this toy. We got this for our 4 month old daughter to play with on the floor so she had a toy other than her little floor mat/gym. This toy claims to have motion activated noise with just a kick on the foot rest however it never works unless i "pound" against it. No way a little child can get it activated so that feature is pointless. also how this toy is set up she must keep her legs bent at all times to play...with one kick of excitement the toy is no longer over her to play with. Very disappointing, wish i would have bought a different toy.

When my oldest wasw younger I had a similar item that made noise and lit up when he kicked it, this however does not compare. One kick and the Gym is out of reach and it didn't even activate the lights. Waste of money, very disappointed and i wished i had purchased the first item I considered rather than going with this.

I have a four-month-old who is in the 95th percentile in terms of height. I have lain him on the floor on his back with the gym above him in Stage 1 so that he could swat at it. There are two inherent problems with the design of the gym: (1) Because my son is so tall, his feet hit the blue part, but his head and hands are nowhere near the yellow part to look at or swat at. (2) Even though my son is tall, even he cannot reach any of the buttons or playthings. Our solution, at least until he learns to sit on his own, has been to put him in his SuperSeat with the gym positioned in Stage 2 for sitters.
It is super easy to put together -- easier than any of my son's other toys.
I am hoping that it will become more fun as my son learns to sit and stand, because it looks like a lot of fun to me. And, I appreciate that it grows with him.
And, you have to admit, the price is right.
