I was hoping this would be the ideal soother for my son's room, but the thing made a grinding mechanical noise once I put the batteries in.
I returned it the next day.
I would not recommend this product, nor would I purchase anything from this company again.
The toy appears to be cheaply made, and the grinding mechanical noise told me that they probably used sub standard parts, I began to worry that this thing might even catch fire if I kept it in my house.

Batteries lasted 2 days. Have to have it in the center of the room. Even then, the images are blurry. You would have to have it placed high to be able to see images clear.

this toy is very cute, the music and sounds are great and I love that it spins (though mine is broken and no longer spins now that we are on baby #2) I don't think it is very durable as a toy, it is better to be admired on a shelf. The pictures don't project onto the wall very good unless the unit is right by the wall. I wouldn't recomment this toy.

I love this product but had to contact the company for a replacement not too long after purchase. The second one broke after a few months. It really is so very cute I wish it was more durable. We do have a set of twins who were pretty rough on it so maybe with a calmer, single child it would outlive its few month window. :)

This was the first Christmas present I got my niece 4 years ago, and she still has it! She liked playing with it for a long time, and it has lasted through the abuse of a toddler. I'm going to get one now for my new daughter.
