 The Disney Princess Electronic Keyboard is Durable!Oct 13, 2011

We have had this keyboard for over three years now! My oldest daughter received it for a Christmas present when she was two. It has lasted much longer than expected, given the environment of three kids under the age of five beating it up most of the time!! It has a few different play modes, and the two songs are pretty cheesy sounding (ie. not any instrument you or I have ever heard plays the tune). But it DOES have volumn controls and it also lights up when playing the tunes. Plus, it turns off automatically if it is not being used after a few minutes. We got it on sale, but the price is very much worth the mony for your little Princess! If it lasted this long in our home, it has passed the test of endurance...

My 16 month old loves this toy . she dances along to music of the toy and loves to try to key along with it. only negative thing about it is it will break very easily. i had to order a second one.

My 3-year old daughter is into anything princess this Christmas, so she had to have the little piano! She loves to pound on the keys. Cute music, too!

My almost 2 year old just got this for a Christmas gift and has already taken an interest in it. She loves music and previously had more of a baby piano. This one has way more keys and buttons to press. There are 2 songs that it plays, one from Cinderella, one from Beauty and the Beast. I wish there were more. There is a record feature which allows you to record and play back your music. Other than that, it is very straightforward. It has an on/off switch but the nice thing is if it stays inactive for about 5 minutes, it turns off by itself. I think the price could be a tad lower; $35 seems a bit extreme for this particular toy. One of the tabs in the back used to prop up the piano broke off already. I don't know how or when or if my daughter dropped it and it fell off, but other than that it seems pretty sturdy. A good toy if your little girl loves music, princesses and playing the piano.
