Good ToySep 02, 2010 This is a fun toy for both my 2 and 3 year old children. Like a previous reviewer said, it would be nice if the drill turned and had a place it could be used.
iplay tool set keeps my grandson occupiedAug 24, 2010 I bought this toy for my grandson because he loves gadgets. He is between 20-21 months and the tools keep him fascinated playing with the screw driver, wrench, and placing the blocks in the correct slots. I get the toy out for one on one time with him and he can play with it for what seems like hours.
Great Fun for Girls and BoysJul 15, 2010 The iPlay Cool Tools Activity Set is a favorite for my kids (boy of 13 months and girl of 30 months). Though it is compact and portable, they are still able to play together with is, and share the toolbox. Often they take the tools out and pretend to "fix" other items around the house as well! Additionally, the talking shape sorter is perfect for young toddlers, since it has only four shapes.
When considering this item for purchase, I read other reviewers who complained of the loud sounds or the difficulty in storage. None of these has been a problem for me. I would highly recommend this toolkit as a gift for a boy or a girl. It's lots and lots of fun!
15 month's favorite car toyJun 02, 2010 I got this for my 15 month old boy for a long car trip (two days). it has become his favorite car toy of all time. Our screws don't come out. We did not put batteries in the drill so he has no interest yet in that. he spends most of the time shape sorting and sometimes banging. The design helps him keep all the toys right there in his lap, like a little lap tool desk, unless he throws them over the side intentionally. That is why I chose this toy. There are few toys he can hang on to in the car that have parts to take on and off. The music is a little annoying, but I like the tape idea over the speakers! Even my 4 year old boy wanted to play with it when he could. A good investment for us on car trips.
Lots of Fun ActivitiesMay 27, 2010 This toy is great. It has tools for pretend play but also many activities. It has gears to spin, a small shape sorting area with 4 shapes, pegs to hammer, and screws to turn. I really like this set and am glad I bought it.
