Gave this to our grand-daughter for her fifth birthday - she has other calico animals as well as the camper - loves all. Plan to extend to other Calico Critters.

I purchased this toy for nieces for Christmas. These were the hit of the entire extended family Christmas celebration. I can't speak to the durability aspect. But I know I was the favorite Aunt for a few hours in December!
