 Great Beds for Calico Critters BabiesApr 03, 2011

The Calico Critters Triple Baby Bunk Beds are a great choice if you have Calico Critters babies.
The set comes with 3 beds - 1 pink, 1 yellow and 1 blue. Each white plastic bed has a matching mattress/pillow pad and colored bedknobs. The head and foot boards are scalloped with little dot indents below the scallops. The sides also have a scallop and dot design - it's really cute. The pink bed has a tulip cutout on the headboard and a pink tulip design printed on the footboard. Likewise, the yellow bed has a duck cut out and yellow duck design, and the blue bed has a fish cut out and blue fish design on the footboard. The beds can be stacked 3 high, separated, or set up with 2 beds on the bottom (a little ways apart) and the 3rd bed on top, 2 legs on each bottom bed. The set also includes 2 small ladders, that hook onto the side of the beds. These beds are small, about 3" by 2" and 1 1/2" high. When stacked, there is about 1 1/4 inches between.
My girls have a bunch of Critter babies, and they chose to buy these beds with their own money. They have not been disappointed. I like the beds because they fit 3 babies, and don't take up too much space - if the beds are stacked they will fit into most of our dollhouse bedrooms along with a regular bedroom set. I don't like the beds because they are too specific - the only toys that fit into these beds are the CC babies. The beds are just a little too small for the regular Calico Critters boys and girls, and way too small for Polly Pockets, or any of the other figures my girls play with in their dollhouses.
Bottom Line - fun if you have Critter Babies, and plenty of beds for your other dollhouse figures. If not, buy the regular Calico Critters Bunk Beds instead.

My 2 year old daughter received a ton of critter stuff for her birthday, including 5 sets of twins (that's what people went for). Needless to say buying multiple nursery sets is out of the question, and we did not have any beds for the babies, so we went out and bought this. Perfect solution. It was cheap and my daughter is happy that she can fit a bunch of babies in the beds (really two can fit in each bed). Also, calico critter kids can fit in them too (at least the mice can).

My daughter begged for this for months and we finally got it for her for christmas. Its pretty cute and sturdy. I like, that, just like real bunk beds, she can fit lots into one place with this bed!

Very detailed and very cute...my granddaughter loves to play with the Calico Critters...she wants them all...not sure I can afford to do that, but I will be buying her more.
