My 9 year old love this tree house. Yes, it is pricy, but it worth buying! The quality is excellent!
This is just like a doll house, but in tree version! It has plenty of rooms in each floor for kids to put furniture and little figures!
My daughter play with this toy than Wii game. Every time my daughter has a play date, all of her friends love to play with this!!!!!!
I am so glad that I got this for her!!!

We love the quality of calico critters. I couldn't get myself to buy a cheap toy like pretty pony and littlest pet shop that is more fun to look at in the packaging than to play with. However I really broke our budget outfitting our 3 year old with enought furniture and dolls make this fun. If you have th money go for it but plan to spend 400 dollar to get enough of a set. Great quality, so cute and quaint. Much sweeter than a lot of the other crap out there.

It took a long time to remember what these toys were called (they used to go by a different name), but if it is any consolation to parents out there who are struggling with the price or whether to buy this item or others, let me just say it is worth it!! The reason it took so long to remember the name? Well, we had "Calico Critters" (known as Sylvanian Families at the time) as children (25 years ago) and I still remember playing with them to this day. The entire collection is worth the buy, and your kids will remember it when they get older :) They are fun. They are imagination boosters. They are durable.

At first I was hesitant to pay the high price for this treehouse as we already have a regular dollhouse. I am very pleased though that I did purchase this for my 4 year old girl albeit at a lower price. I loved the look of it and it has a lot of nooks and crannies to play with more so than a regular dollhouse. The treehouse came with a little red boat, 2 mango monkeys, railings, a few little accessories and some stickers. It is made of a higher quality plastic and rather sturdy.
There is enough room on each floor to place an entire room of calico critter furniture (sold separately) eg one bedroom set or one bathroom set etc. plus some critters. There is also plenty of room outside of the treehouse on the pagoda, hot tub, patio and walkways to hold lots and lots of critters. We have only had it for less than a week now but my little girl plays with it constantly and tells me repeatedly how much she loves it.
The treehouse is adorable and as the other reviewer wrote, it is just so quiant.

I've been watching this item since last Christmas, waiting for the price to drop on a sale offer. It doesn't, this is the best price you are likely to find. It is very nice, tall (my daughter won't have to hunch over on the floor to play with it), with great detail. I do think it is a bit expensive though, considering it does not come with many things. However, if you like Calico Critters as do I, this is their best playhouse in my humble opinion. It dwarfs the other houses and is different than most other toy houses on the market.
