Fooled me twiceFeb 12, 2011
By Anthony Kramer I ordered this toddler piano and it arrived broken, which is a shame because my daughter seemed to like it even without all the keys producing sound or the proper tuning. I figured just a bad packing job. Amazon.com as always was great with the return on items like this. So, I returned the first one and ordered it a second time and same story - arrived broken. In both cases, there were bolts in the back of the piano that were loose or had fallen out, resulting in some crucial part not operating properly that affected the tuning of the keys. I am guessing there are better starter pianos out there and that overall, this was a reflection of the workmanship of the piano.

Great little Piano and well builtJul 13, 2010
By Andrew B Lautenschlager We've had this piano for a few months now. It has a very solid construction and seem like it will last a long time. Tonally, well its a kids piano, you don't buy one of these for the tone. Imagine what a kids piano would sound like and thats what you get. No problems with keys falling out as some have mentioned with other pianos.
The only drawback we found is that the felt feet on the piano fell off with in a few days, this is why I gave it 4 stars. It would be my recommendation to remove these feet immediately as they would be a choking hazard for sure.
FunDec 28, 2011
By JB My husband and I enjoy this toy much more than our daughter it seems, and in these circumstances I find that my husband and I are the annoying ones when it comes to nuisance and noise. We gave this toy to my daughter for her first birthday. I am also hoping that she develops an interest for music.
Gorgeous, beautifully made but delicateNov 17, 2011
By Marilisa This piano is gorgeous. It's pretty small, but perfect for my 15 month-old, who received it at 14 months. One of the black keys broke off in just 4 weeks, because my son smashed it with a maracas. If you want this piece to become an heirloom piece for generations to come, you're probably going to be disappointed because it's delicate and likely to break if it's not used carefully.
It's mainly made of solid wood and painted. The paint chips if you smash it with another hard object, which is only natural, but if used as it should be (just fingers) then it's pretty solid and looks like it will stay intact for years. I have no regrets buying this and I love the eco-friendly Boikido range. I just wish I could easily replace that broken black key!
Excellent PianoApr 18, 2011
By tayana Please don't expect this piano to sound like the adult-size, it is after all created for babies. At least take comfort in that it is not a battery produced tone. My 9 1/2 month old has been playing with it for the past three months, which is quite amazing considering that the interest he shows for other toys is very fleeting.
