I didn't realize these beads were considered a "toy" and they weren't purchased as such. As beads go, they were great. My party guests enjoyed them, and they added the right festive air to my gathering.
They arrived in wonderful shape, and they arrived pretty quickly after I ordered - sooner than expected, actually.
I would buy from this company again.

We are orginally from New Orleans but now live in San Diego and we like to share Mardi Gras with my granddaugher's first grade class by sending a King Cake and some trinkets. These beads were quite inexpensive but nice and allowed us to have plenty to pass around at school.

I was very disappointed when I received these beads. They are 3mm thick, not 7mm thick as stated in the description. Each bead is a little less than 1/8 inch across - these are definitely not the beads you think of when you think of people tossing beads in parades.

I guess I should have paid more attention to the title, but who knew that they even make such miniature sizes of Mardi Gras beads? I was very disappointed when these arrived. Now I understand why they were so cheap :-/

I really don't consider these beads "toys". I wouldn't recommend them for any children under the age of 7 or 8. I bought them for my son to bring to a party. A good deal for 72 bead necklaces. His friends loved them.
